Courses

We offer four different programmes. 

PGCE

The PGCE programme offers Qualified Teacher Status and the academic award of PGCE. The PGCE is recognised, and therefore qualifies you to teach, outside the UK. The PGCE has a fee of £9,000. 

Applications for the PGCE course are made via the UCAS website and are accepted throughout the year leading up to the course start date as long as vacancies exist. The provider code is F82 and the course code is 2DLG. 

Once an application has been submitted the next step is to take the Professional Skills Tests.

School Direct Salaried

The School Direct Salaried Programme offers a route to Qualified Teacher Status which is an accepted qualification, and enables you to work as a teacher, in England and Wales. 

The salaried programme is employment based with a minimum full time salary of 0.1 on the unqualified teacher payscale. 

Applications for the salaried programme are made through the UCAS website and are accepted thorughout the year. You are advised to apply early as this programme is very popular. We prefer applicants to have secured a supporting school, although we will consider applicants without a supporting school.

Hazelwood Infant School, provider code 15T, course code 23M9.

NET Academies, provider code 2KT, course code 39ZT.

Spiral Partnership Trust, provider code 2E7, course code 325L.

Churchfields Junior School (Teach in Redbridge), provider code 2D7, course code 2YBM

Gearies Primary School (Teach in Redbridge), provider code 23D, course code 2J4D.

Mayespark Primary School (Teach in Redbridge), provider code 2BX, course code 2XXJ.

The School Direct Unsalaried Programme offers a route to Qualified Teacher Status which is an accepted qualification, and enables you to work as a teacher, in England and Wales. The School Direct non salaried programme has a fee of £9000.

Applications for the unsalaried programme are made through the UCAS website and are accepted thorughout the year.

The School Direct Unsalaried with PGCE programme offers Qualified Teacher Status and the academic award of PGCE. The PGCE is recognised, and therefore qualifies you to teach, outside the UK. The PGCE has a fee of £9,000. 

Applications for the School Direct Unsalaried with PGCE programme are made via the UCAS website and are accepted throughout the year leading up to the course start date as long as vacancies exist. The provider code is  15T (Hazelwood Infant School) and the course code is 38LS. 

Once an application has been submitted the next step is to take the Professional Skills Tests.

Middlesex University

The PGCE element of our programmes is validated by Middlesex University which means that the programme is quality assured by Middlesex University and you will receive a Middlesex award on successful completion. The University also offers FIPC graduates credits toward an MA at MU on completion of the course.

Continuous Professional Development

Students who successfully complete the PGCE course at FIPC may use the credits gained to progress to an MA in Education at Middlesex University.
